Note with photograph: "Result of flooding, shows original water pipes and culvert with fill washed out. Photo looks south. Street car track at top. House on left is second from corner Broadway at Cambie. The corner house belonged to Mr. Dave Esplen and family. They had a dairy on the lower floor. House with turret belonged to Mr. Maxwell, church minister."
