Family 1930 Ag-Dc [August to December]

File consists of Ted Taylor personal and professional correspondence and notes, a studio pass, lists, address book pages, programs, booklets, clippings, receipts, cards, fifteen photographs and other material. Photographs include a negative and two prints of Mary Louise Taylor (CVA 1477-1295, CVA 1477-1299, CVA 1477-430) a photograph of Eve West (CVA 1477-1308), four photographic postcards of Ensenda Mexico, and several photographs of various unidentified people and places. File also contains Ted's correspondence with L.D. Taylor and Kate Taylor Cooley, a clipping of a newspaper column by Ken Taylor, a list of the Honorary Committee sponsoring the 25th anniversary number of "Variety," and a card from actress Belle Bennett.

Family 1929 Jr-Ag [January to August]

File consists of Ted Taylor personal and professional correspondence and notes, photographs, financial records, daily appointment book pages, drafts of contracts, newspaper clippings, sketches, cards, postcards, theatre programs and other material. Personal correspondents include various friends and family members, including L.D. Taylor, Ken Taylor, Octavia Beaton and George J. Fowler. Professional correspondents include Lane Chandler. Correspondence with L.D. relates to Annie Louise Taylor's death, their marriage and L.D.'s world tour. Some correspondence and newspaper clippings pertain to L.D. and George J. Fowler's visit to Los Angeles in May and to the capsizing of L.D. and Ken's boat in the Parsnip River in northern British Columbia. The file also contains many notes by Ted concerning his professional and personal activities, an agreement between the Los Angeles Press Service and the Radio Program Service and a notice of dissolution of this agreement. Also included in the file are photographs and textual records relating to publicity for female pilot Lucy Wallingford.

Family 1928 jl-nv [July to November]

File consists of Ted Taylor's personal and professional correspondence, fifteen photographs, notes, lists, receipts, writings, newspaper clippings, postcards, cards, and other material. Includes correspondence between Ted Taylor and Octavia Beaton, L.D. Taylor, Ken Taylor, Annie Louise Taylor, Ruth Wing, Ralph Beaton and various friends. Correspondence related to L.D. Taylor Includes a letter from L.D. to Ted discussing the Lennie Commission, a letter from L.D. to Octavia describing his propeller injury, and a letter from Ted to Ralph discussing L.D.'s loss in the civic election. The file also contains several newspaper clippings pertaining to L.D. and to Ted's visit to Vancouver. Also included in the file are notes and an account of Ted's voyage from France to the U.S. aboard a cargo vessel, his stay in New York and Ohio, and travel to Vancouver. The file also includes notes and a detailed account of Ted's stay in Vancouver, October 19th to 28th, and L.D.'s daily activities during the visit, as well as notes pertaining to Ted's activities upon his return to Hollywood and possible employment opportunities. Included among the photographs are two photographs of Ted taken in Paris, four photographs of Mary Louise Taylor and five photographs of Mary Louise with George Beaton.

File consists of Ted Taylor's correspondence, notes, cards, receipts and nine photographs, as well as a notebook belonging to Octavia Beaton. Includes correspondence with Annie Louise Taylor, Ken Taylor, L.D. Taylor, George Beaton, Caroline Little Pierce and various friends.
File also includes four photographs pertaining to Ken's trip to Ensenada, Mexico with Mr. and Mrs. Kenny (CVA 1477-1238 to CVA 1477-1241), three photographs of the Fete Provincial at Le Cannet in April 1928 (CVA 1477-1242 to CVA 1477-1244) and two photographs of Mary Louise Taylor (CVA 1477-1245 and CVA 1477-1246). File also contains cards from Edith Millicent Ryan and Jackie Coogan.

Family 1925 sp-dc [September to December]

File consists of correspondence, photographs, financial records, newspaper clippings, postcards, cards and other material pertaining to the personal and professional activities of Ted Taylor, his family and friends. Includes Ted's correspondence with Annie Louise Taylor, L.D. Taylor, Ken Taylor, Caroline Little Pierce, Octavia Beaton, George Beaton, Ruth Wing, and various friends and colleagues, including Howard Strickling and Harry Rapf. Correspondence with L.D. discusses Ted and Ken's employment activities, L.D.'s activities as Mayor of Vancouver, the upcoming civic election and the growth of the city. Ruth Wing's letters to Ted describes current items of interest in Hollywood and the release of Ferdinand Earle's movie "A Lover's Oath" (The Rubaiyat). The file also contains a few letters from Octavia to Annie, three negatives showing views of Paris (CVA 1477-1220 to CVA 1447-1222), a photograph of George Beaton (CVA 1477-1223), financial records concerning the Pierce-Taylor Hollywood properties and a card from Jackie and Robert Coogan.

File consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, five photographs, financial receipts, postcards, a drawing, a pamphlet, cards, a book with enclosures and other material. File contains professional correspondence of Ted and Ken Taylor, and Ted's personal correspondence, the majority of which pertains to the birth of Mary Louise Taylor and the illness and death of Mary Beaton Taylor. Includes correspondence with Octavia Beaton, George Beaton, Bruce and Mary May Beaton, L.D. Taylor, Ken Taylor, Annie Louise Taylor, Caroline Little Pierce and publicist Howard Strickling. File also includes incoming Mary Beaton Taylor correspondence from Octavia, Mary May Beaton and various friends, and a letter from Octavia to Annie. Additional material includes photographs of George Beaton (CVA 1477-1218) and Ted Taylor with co-workers in Paris (CVA 1477-1217), a sketch of Ted Taylor, and an article by Ken Taylor.

Personal correspondents of Ted include Caroline Little Pierce, Annie Louise Taylor and Ruth Wing. His professional correspondents include friends, colleagues at various studios and publications, as well as the following individuals: Charles A. Post, Thomas H. Ince, Ralph Dawson, Barabara La Marr, Vic Potel, Paul Gangelin, Fanchon Royer, Colleen Moore, Eileen Sedgwick, Edith Millicent Ryan, Tom Reed, Buckleigh Fritz Oxford, Elzabeth Alexander (on behalf of her son Ben Alexander), J.K. McDonald, Jeff Lazarus and Millard Webb. Also included in the file are copies of Ted's "Cinematters" column and other articles, several articles quoting his writings, pages of his address book, and a photograph on a postcard of the camp grounds at Warner Springs, California.

File consists of correspondence, articles, newspaper clippings, bills and receipts, lists, eight negatives, eleven prints, cards, programs, sketches and other material relating mainly to the personal and professional activities of Ted Taylor. Includes eight photographs taken during Ted and Ruth Wing's honeymoon at Catalina (CVA 1477-1175 to CVA 1477-1182), and photographs of Ruth (CVA 1477-1183), Ted and Ruth (CVA 1477-1186), Caroline Little Pierce (CVA 1477-1190) and Marion Pierce (CVA 1477-1184). File also contains articles by Ted Taylor and many newspaper clippings relating to his marriage to Ruth and his appointment as treasurer of the "Committee of 14," which was created to fight censorship in the motion picture industry. In addition to professional correspondence, the, file also contains Ted's correspondence with Caroline, Ruth and Annie Louise Taylor.
