The map was likely used in planning the development of Vanier Park and/or the Vancouver Museum in the mid-late 1960s. Annotations show "most likely entrance" at McNicoll Avenue.

Over a quarter million people attend this amateur show and over 2,500 entertainers volunteer their services each season. From early June to late August, this great little show goes on nearly every evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. midst beautiful surroundings. You are cordially invited to attend the Kitsilano Showboat at Kitsilano Beach. Drive south on Burrard Street across the bridge turn right, 4 blocks to free parking. Mon., Wed., Fri. at 8:00 p.m. different show each night."
