Kits Day [VPD Police dog show and VW over Lions Gate]

Item is a film showing groups of people sitting and walking in a park or green space [probably at Kits Day], a police demonstration with German Shepherds in a park in a residential area, the view from inside a vehicle going over the Lion's Gate Bridge, a view of the bridge and the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal from the vehicle and views from aboard the ferry.

LaBelle family album, 1932-1957

File is a photograph album showing images of Eugene LaBelle working on telephone lines and other images related to the B.C. Telephone Company including three of Sproat Lake sent to the Canadian Department of National Defense for Air Pacific Communication Programme in 1943, soldiers in uniform and scenes of military training [Canadian Army Base in Kingston, Ont.?], members of the LaBelle family and friends, interior and exterior views of the family home at 2677 West 43rd in Vancouver, trips to other parts of British Columbia, Niagara Falls and the United States including postcards and other ephemera. Names and places are further identified for most images in the album. Some images are duplicates to images found in the other LaBelle family albums of this accession.

Item is an architectural drawing depicting a subway (underground) pedestrian walkway to run underneath the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks, linking Alexander Street to the North Vancouver Ferry Co. dock. Ramp grades are indicated. The drawing shows the location of the North Vancouver Ferry Company; Evans, Coleman and Evans Limited; and the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway Company.
