Administrative history

The Vancouver Conservative Association (District One) was organized to further the interests of the Conservative Party in Vancouver.
It was formed around 1890, and then the growth of the city necessitated the division of the Association into District Associations corresponding with provincial electoral ridings. District One of the Vancouver Conservative Association comprises that provincial riding which includes the city's West End.
