Biographical history

The Vancouver Vagabonds' Club was founded in 1915 under the leadership of J. Francis Bursill (Felix Penne). In forming the club, whose membership was restricted to males, members primary concern was to promote good fellowship and cultivate intellectual vagabondage.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, and papers presented by members, including poetry and short stories. A guest book of members and guests is also included.
The fonds is arranged into 4 series: Members' contributions and programs pamphlets, Organizational papers, Records of meetings, and Register of guests and members.
