This data is updated frequently in the normal course of business, however priorities and resources determine how fast a change in reality is reflected in the database. The extract of this data on this website is updated weekly.

This package consists of several files and components as follows:

• Sanitary network (mains and manholes)
• Storm network (mains and manholes)
• Combined network (mains and manholes)
• City force mains (mains and manholes)
• GVRD (Metro Vancouver) trunk sewers (mains and manholes)
• Sewer catch basins

The types of mains and manholes are distinguished by attributes

Commercial and residential connections to the mains are not available.

Sewer features are generally created with survey accuracy.

Attributes vary with feature type.

DWG, SHP, TIF, Mr. SID, and ECW formatted data are projected in UTM Zone 10, NAD83 (CSRS). KML, CSV, and XLS formatted data are in latitude and longitude (WGS84). Not all CSV and XLS files have latitude and longitude
