History

Townley, Matheson & Partners was a Vancouver architectural practice that evolved out of the firm Townley & Matheson, Architects.

In 1964, company associates Allen C. Kelly (1908-2001) and Leonard A. Humphrey became partners in the newly corporatized firm. Ross B. Ritchie also became a partner, most likely in 1965 or 1966. he firm went through two name changes in quick succession before settling on Townley, Matheson & Partners in 1967.

In 1969 the partnership merged with the practice of Alfredo J. Luz, but retained the name Townley, Matheson & Partners.
