Administrative history

The origins of the Terminal City Club can be traced to the foundation of a men's social club, the Metropolitan Club, in 1892. In 1899, the Metropolitan Club wound up affairs, and was incorporated under the name of Terminal City Club. Since that time the Terminal City Club has remained an important Vancouver social institution.

The fonds consists of minutes, records of membership, by-laws, annual reports, a history of the club and photographs of A.G. Ferguson, the first President, the Metropolitan Building and A.G. Ferguson's house, 1887.
