Sunset Mills Limited was formed in 1908 by Newton Wolverton, A.N. Wolverton, William Waldie, and J. Laing Stocks of Nelson, B.C. The firm was formed as a holding company to purchase and develop 42 timber licences located on Vancouver Island in the Adams River area. The firm's head office was moved to Vancouver in 1930. Sunset Mills Limited was voluntarily liquidated in 1947.
