Scope and content
Series consists of statistical reports collected or generated by the Vancouver Merchants' Exchange. Included are monthly shipping reports from the National Harbours Board for the periods 1937-1939, 1943-1969, and 1974, which describe imports and exports through the Port of Vancouver including commodities, origins, and tonnage for deepsea, foreign coastwise, and local coastwise shipping. Also included are annual statistical reports prepared by the Exchange for1925-1938, 1946-74; as well as grain shipment statistics for 1923-1930, 1935-1940, 1960-1963, and 1966-1975.
