Administrative history

Ridge Runner was a Vancouver-based psychedelic rock band that was active 1975-1976. Many of the members were formerly members of the folk-rock band Brain Damage, including Joel Bert (percussion), Gary Cramer (guitar, vocals), David Engleman (bass, vocals), and Larry McGillivray (drums, vocals); they joined Mike Beddoes (guitar, vocals), and later Elliot Turret (guitar, vocals) to form Risge Runner.

Ridgerunner played a number of music festivals across British Columbia, including the Edgewood Fair, Habitat ’76, the Easter Be-in, and several tours of the Kootenays and Vancouver Island. They also played in Edmonton and Seattle. Ridgerunner reunited after 25 years for a 20th year celebration of Rohan’s Rockpile nightclub.
