"Essentially, it is our belief that the "average person" if given a reasonable amount of access to resources will be able to create for himself a life setting which will be economically realistic and socially and culturally acceptable to him/her. Therefore, we see our main task as one of providing these resources, (money, capital equipment, expertise, training, outlook) to the people in such a way that they will be able to maximise this opportunity to the fullest possible extent. . . ." Proposals for employment creation included a "People's Garage," a candle factory, and a musician's co-op.
