Series consists of photographs of Union Steamship vessels, facilities, resort properties, and other related subjects, taken by both amateur unidentified photographers and professional photographers such as Leonard Frank, Stuart Thomson, and Jack Lindsay.

All photographs were originally mounted in albums. Those containing photos considered to be relevant to Vancouver history (albums 37-41) have been dismantled and treated individually. These photographs are now located at CVA 374.
