Biographical history

In 1927, the MacMillan Post No. 9 of the Native Sons of British Columbia was established in Langley Prairie, B.C. Over the years, it was involved in promoting the development of historic sites in the area, particularly Fort Langley, which it managed for many years.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of correspondence relating to the social and organizational activities; minutes and membership lists; and notices of meetings from Vancouver Post No. 2 and New Westminster Post No. 4. In addition, there is information on the Fort Langley historic site and oriental exclusion. Also included are clippings and information on local sports events, Christmas cards and other published items.
