Scope and content

This series contains newspaper clippings, promotional materials, correspondence, certificates, ribbons, and audio recordings related to Richards' music career. It covers his career with the Kitsilano Boys Band, the Panorama Roof, and the B.C. Lions, as well as the many charity benefits, conferences, and other events at which he performed.
The photographs include portraits by Gemini Photo (CVA 1205-24, 30, 31), a single print from Fred Skolovy (CVA 1205-8), contact sheets from Williams Bros. Photographers Ltd. (CVA 1205-6, 7), Polacolor Type 108 polaroids (CVA 1205-12, 14, 15), Polaroid Land Camera polaroids (CVA 1205-3, 4, 5), and two colour photograph negatives (CVA 1205-35, 36). There is also a folder in this series with some documents that originally accompanied the photographs.
