Includes cap band taken from James Skitt's pill box hat, an admission pass to City Hall the day the Queen Elizabeth visited it, Matthews' Narvaez pamphlet, Matthews' work "The Story of "A Brave Soldier and a Gallant Gentleman" about William Hart-McHarg, a copy of the operation orders for the capture of the Regina Trench, the 1936 Report of the City Archivist, and the June issue of The Imperial Oil Review. Also includes 7 photographs: 1 of Hugh Matthews' grave, 1 of Christchurch, 1 of Hugh Matthews gold panning, and 3 of Major Matthews in Portland, Oregon.
