Biographical history

Lorna Makepeace served as a nursing sister with the Canadian Army during World War II. She continued in the army after the war. Upon her return to Canada, she served at military hospitals in B.C.

The fonds consists of correspondence, invoices, theatre programs, coronation of George VI pamphlets, a 1919 peace celebration songbook, certificates, postcards, military papers including paybooks, ration cards, travel authority warrants, and photographs.
