The Lady Vancouver Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1963 by a nucleus of women to further the cause of tourism in the city of Vancouver. As goodwill ambassadors of the Greater Vancouver Regional District, these volunteers work with Tourism Vancouver to promote activities and attractions in Vancouver and the lower mainland of the province.
Scope and content
Fonds includes constitution and by-laws, membership lists, presidents' reports, minutes of the annual general meetings, newsletters, miscellaneous records and a small trophy, the "Chimo Award to Lady Vancouver Club for outstanding contribution to Greater Vancouver Tourism September 1980", awarded by the Greater Vancouver Convention & Visitor's Bureau.

Restriction details: 622-D-05 fld 17 includes two booklets containing names, addresses and phone numbers of Club members. These booklets must be removed from the file before the file can be given to the researcher. No access to these booklets is permitted, except by the executive of the Lady Vancouver Club. A marker has been placed in front of the booklets.
