Karl Koenig, born about 1910 in Germany, was a Vancouver boatbuilder who wrote poetry during his travels around B.C. during the depression in the 1930s.

The fonds consists of poetry, written in German, dealing with personal matters, nature and relief camps, and photographs of Koenig's career as a boat builder and views of Snug Cove, Bowen Island, Brooksmere, Kamloops, Penticton, and Lytton.
