The Ja-go-ben Boys Club was a recreational club in South Vancouver for boys aged eleven to sixteen.
The club was formed in 1946 by Vivian E. (Vic) Bennett (referred to as 'Pop' by club members) as an effort to combat juvenile delinquency. The name of the club was a memorial to Bennett's son, Flight Sgt. James Gordon Bennett, who was killed in the Second World War. The club used the basement of Mr. Bennett's home as a headquarters in which they held meetings, played games, listened to guest speakers, and engaged in various other hobbies and recreational activities. In addition, the club organized sports meets and dances, and attended camps sponsored by the Vancouver Optimist Club. The club also organized search parties for missing persons in the neighbourhood.
A Ladies Auxiliary for the club was also formed, and was responsible for fundraising and other financial matters, and prepared food for various club events.
