John Roy Ogston was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. He was a Vancouver artist, lithographer and illustrator noted for illuminated scrolls.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of photographs of illuminated scrolls created by Ogston for ceremonial occasions, personal photographs, and clippings.
Immediate source of acquisition
Donated by the Estate of Edith Mary Ogston, through H.P.R. Brown (Executor), 19 April, 1984.
