Biographical history
Alan John Ingram was a native of Montrose, Scotland who settled in North Vancouver in 1958 after completing his National Service in the Royal Air Force. He worked for the City of Vancouver for 25 years, 20 of them as a City Claims Investigator. He was a keen amateur photographer and for some years led a Boy Scouts troop in North Vancouver.

The collection consists of photocopies of two newsclippings and a letter relating to the sinking of the British transport "Cameronia" in the Mediterranean in April 1917.
