Item is a photograph of the interior of the drawing room at 1100 Haro Street. Annotation on back: "The drawing room where mother, Mrs. T. Frank Paterson held many 'at home' teas - when we first learned to greet the guests by 'opening the front door.' As we grew older, were allowed to pass refreshments in the dining room to the guests and finally graduating into to the drawing room to speak with the guests. I, Gladys Thompson, was married in this room Sept. 21, 1926. (Original) Province newspapers social report on my wedding is enclosed. June 21, 1977."
