Item is a video with a behind-the-scenes video titled "The making of Barclay personal taste," which shows the making of a Barclays commercial, as well as samples, of different lengths, of commercials made for Barclays. Features various sets, setting up sets, shots of downtown Vancouver and inside the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch, actors and film crews. Video also includes a making of video for the commercial "Manifesto 2002 Caritas Brunnen" and samples of a German and English version of the finished commercial. Features a model of a mouth. "Manifesto Films August 2002 making of CableCom in Vancouver" gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a commercial for CableCom. In addition to the completed CableCom commercial video includes other Manifesto Films commercials; a Panasonic commercial, a Cheveron commercial for Orthene Fire Ant Killer, a Fox commercial for the Emmy Awards, two Kinder Bueno commercials, and a Hero FruitKiss commercial.

Sky hawks [tape # 20]

Item is raw footage shot for a one hour television network documentary featuring Canada's Military parachute team, the Sky hawks. Includes footage of a city skyline [Spokane, WA?], and the Sky hawk team members at an air show in the USA, an American flag is included in their show [Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, WA?]. Team members are filmed getting ready to board the plane, polishing their boots, folding a flag, checking their own and each others equipment, practicing their aerial routine on the ground, footage also includes a local news camera women, airshow crowds, the Sky hawks ground team, the Sky hawks performance, the airshow announcer can be heard narrating the show as the camera captures the show and the crowd. Electronic Industry promo [tional short] - "Consider the Reasons"

Item was created from the "Economic Development" (1992) 16mm, colour, raw footage (90 minutes); footage of the electronic and aerospace industry around Vancouver. From this and other footage from Yaletown Productions, two programs were edited for the Province of British Columbia, Ministry of Economic Development, Small Business and Trade. Film has a music soundtrack and has captions throughout.

Everest - Climb For Hope

Item is the master version of the film "Everest - Climb For Hope;" a documentary following a Canadian team of climbers raising money for research and awareness about Rett Syndrome by climbing Mount Everest. Ernie Sneidzins is the father of a young teenager suffering from Rett Syndrome, it was his determination to do something that set this expedition in motion. Narrated by Leslie Nielson; Produced and directed by Michael Collier; Written by Richard Tomkies; Director of photography Robert C. Item is raw footage of a man with a backpack climbing the stairs of the CN Tower in Toronto ON, bars with just the sound of a man on the stairs, an interview with Jim who wanted to be part of the Climb for Hope Everest Team, he talks about training and the draw of mountaineering, and the Climb for Hope Team in general. Includes footage of Ernie Sniedzins practicing martial arts in a class.

Item is a version of "Rockies by rail" which has no narration, only music and effects. There is a time code reading at the bottom of the screen throughout. Footage includes some nice panning shots of the city of Vancouver. Michael Collier is sometimes one of the train passengers. Some footage was shot in Alaska as well as British Columbia.

Film is original raw footage for the film "Everest - climb for hope" on location en route to Everest. Camera: Collier/Gibson Sound: Noble/Morrow. Scenes of hiking on a glacier, mountain views, men in a tent talking on a radio, men having medical check-ups, the full moon rising, the campsite, a stone [monastery] complex, a rescue operation, and clouds blowing in the wind.

Item is the original. "Expo 86 PSA No. 1" [Public service announcement] produced by Yaletown Productions for the Government of Canada External Affairs Department. Film has four thirty second commericals advertising Expo 86. The commercials feature footage of Vancouver and British Columbia highlighting the city, nature, tourist activities and the Expo site.
