Identified floats and performers include the train from Montreal to Port Moody 1886, New Westminster, Comox Valley, Sannich, Vancouver Fire Department, Fraser Expedition, Canadian Order of Foresters, The Moonlighters, Horseshoe Bay, and the P.N.E Minstrel Band. Businesses and buildings shown include Standard Stations, British American Oil Company, Canadian Pacific Railroad, Radio CKWX 1130, Hotel Vancouver, Georgia Hotel, the Provincial Courthouse, and Pacific Western Airlines. Footage also shows downtown street banners. The second half of the film includes footage of the RCMP riding onto Hastings Park racetrack in formation in front of an RCMP band being conducted and a crowd.
