Family gathering at the house of Dr. and Mrs. Farish

Item is a photograph showing a gathering of family members. Document accompanying photograph states: "Descendent families of Charles Gowen. Born in London, England Feb. 18, 1819, died in Victoria, Dec. 8, 1892, and Anne E. Anderson, born in Malton, Yorkshire, England, Mar. 27, 1827, died in Victoria Nov. 11, 1920. Married Aug. 26, 1855 at Placerville, California by Rev. S.S. Wheeler." Document then lists the various descendant families.

Document identifies the people in the photograph:
Top row, left to right: W.J. McKerlie, Revely Farish, Napier Gowen, Mrs. Flo. Patten, Nelson Gowen, Frank Cooper, Napier Gowen Jr., Mrs Frank White.

Street cars and vehicles:- left hand rule of the road until 1921.

Have not investigated but this looks July or August 1908 or perhaps July-Aug 1909"
