Asahi : a legend in baseball : a legacy from the Japanese Canadian baseball team to its heirs.
File consists of a photograph album showing members and activities of the Boeing Ski Club at Georgia Lodge on Grouse Mountain and other parties as well as two photographs of planes. The album also includes a member card for the Boeing Social and Athletic Club and a few clippings from the Boeing Beam related to employee social events.

File contains a photograph album showing various scenes in Vancouver and surrounding area. There are also many informal photos of W.H. Malkin employees participating in activities such as: baseball, camping, picnics, sailing and fishing. There are also numerous photos of the W.H. Malkin storefront. Pictured in photographs on pages two and three of the album is Ed Jardine according to hand written annotations on loose papers that were slipped into the album. Two photos on page twenty-four were taken by Lennox Studios and are entitled: "Camping at Hollyburn" and "By the Campfire's Glow."

Some of the recreational activities documented in the film include children?s playground activities, a parade, races, baseball, tug-of-war, swimming, gymnastics, ice-skating, hockey and a toboggan run.

Item is a documentary film documenting various recreational activities and special events taking place in park playgrounds in Vancouver. The film contains footage of special events such as the 1967 Sandbox Project, the Annual Kids Fishing Derby, and the Soap-box Derby. The recreational activities documented include baseball, children?s fishing, Ukrainian dancing, outdoor ballet dancing, boxing, bicycle riding, basketball, volleyball, outdoor gymnastics, children?s games, and musical performances. The film also documents a children?s parade involving children carrying signs with various Vancouver park names, a children?s puppet show, a parade with children marching their bicycles and a marching bag-piping band as well as a children?s trophy ceremony. In addition, the film contains footage of children driving mini cars at the Playground Traffic School as well as footage of Camp Capilano and children participating in recreational activities such as hiking, eating lunch and tug of war.
Item is a documentary film documenting people participating in recreational activities in Vancouver's parks. The recreational activities shown in the film include tennis, lacrosse, cricket, baseball, soccer, golf, lawn bowling, ice skating, rugby, football, field hockey, sunbathing, swimming, children's finger painting, ballet dancing, boys' woodworking, girls' arts and crafts, girls' indoor basketball, bingo, bag piping, and dancing. The film also documents the free archery instruction that was offered by the Park Board Commissioners as well as several Stanley Park feature activities such as the Stanley Park Miniature Railway, Theatre Under the Stars and Opera in the Malkin Bowl.
