Item is a photograph showing the corner of Beach Avenue and Broughton Street during the 2013 Pride Parade. Writing on back of photograph by Erik Graff: " Pride Parade, Vancouver 2013. Here is the problem on a grand scale! Too many delays between the floats!!!!! According to my diary the first one occurred by 3:05 pm lasting for 15 minutes causing a lot of the spectators to leave, thinking the parade was over. This photo was taken at about 3:50 pm when there was another long gap between the floats, at the same Beach/Broughton Street location. After that 2nd delay, so many people thought that now the parade has ended and so, the spectators followed the floats, not realizing that a good number of floats were still to come. By now (as the photo shows) the intersection is practically deserted and even we (the volunteers) had begun folding chairs, believing that the parade was over."
