Archdeacon Heathcote residence : 3838 Cypress Street

File contains two sets of drawings. Townley and Matheson were responsible for alterations to the residence, the addition of a ballroom, in 1927. The original building was designed by architect Thomas Hooper in 1912. The file contains 12 blueprints Hooper titled "Hugh McLean residence, Shaughnessy Heights" which are listed as [Thomas Hooper, Architect] job no. 602. Architectural drawings

Series consists of drawings created in the course of designing architectural projects that reflect the creation of initial concepts and proposals, refinement and revision of the proposal, the production of working plans for building contractors, and alterations made to plans during the construction process. The drawings include lot plans, elevations, floor plans, perspective drawings and building schedules, representing approximately 700 of the 1100+ architectural projects that Townley, Matheson and Partners were responsible for.
