Collector/curator’s description reads: “Late 1940s, Vancouver. Black and white photograph of photographer Yucho Chow standing next to a large-format camera. In his hand, Yucho is holding the air shutter release.”

Item is an amateur film documenting a performance by the Silver Spring Blue Grass Band at the 1975 Vancouver International Stone Symposium in VanDusen Gardens. The film contains footage a crowd of people watching a concert being given on an earthen mound at the symposium site, people talking, and a phototographer taking pictures of the people and musicians.

Item is raw footage shot for a one hour television network documentary featuring Canada's Military parachute team, the Sky hawks. Video includes footage of the preperation of the drop zone (with yellow marker and red smoke bomb), the Sky hawks practicing on the ground, entering an airplane, aerial acrobatics, sky diving, parachuting, and landing in the drop zone. Original camera source tape 6.

Item is raw footage shot for a one hour television network documentary featuring Canada's Military parachute team, the Sky hawks. Includes footage of the Sky hawks in an airplane getting ready to jump an then jumping out of the airplane as well as shots of airplanes taking off and the Sky hawks landing in the drop zone, folding their parachutes, completing paper work and exercising. Original camera source tape 7.

Peter Chow - portrait - 1930s - colourized

Collector/curator’s description reads: “C. 1930s, Vancouver. Hand coloured portrait photo of Peter Chow, the oldest son of commercial photographer Yucho Chow. Peter took over the running of the studio when he father died in November 1949. He operated the business with his brother Philip Chow, until they both retired in 1986. Peter was married to Helena (Wong) Chow and together they have 8 children. Peter was born in 1915 and died in 1996.”
