The recording documents Bing Crosby visit to Vancouver for the sod-turning ceremony at the Sunset Community Centre, CJOR announcer Dorwin Baird at Great Northern Station, Crosby's appearance at train station, Crosby's speech at City Hall. The following day: Crosby sings "Blues in the Night", ceremony at Sunset Centre where Crosby sings "Blue Skies" and the turning of first sod.
