[Wedge shaped rocks]

A note on the original mounting board reads: "The 'Wedge." The disintegration of rock formation is an interesting field for the nature photographer. Wet, frost, debris, and vegetation penetrates the fractures in the rock, forcing the mass apart to fall below and form the Talus. Sea Coast, near Vancouver, B.C. Philip Timms, A.R.P.S."

Ripple Rock explosion, pre explosion

Item is a photograph of the blasting of Ripple Rock, the navigational hazard in the Seymour Narrows, from a bunker position on an area hilltop. The explosion has broken the surface of the water and clouds have mostly obscured the landscape.

Yaletown Everest 12

Item is original camera tape footage taken for the "Everest - Climb for hope" documentary. Video contains interviews with team members at a time near the end of the expedition. And one interview with an expedition Sherpa. Video contains camp ambiance, packing up and clean-up. Sherpas sort through food left-over and supplies after the expedition. The video ends with a party and a food fight.
