Funeral cortege of three firemen killed on duty

Item is a photograph of a funeral procession for Cpt. E. William Barnett, firefighter Reg Hill, and Lt. James Hunt, the three firefighters killed during the McMaster Building fire. The procession is on W Georgia Street outside Christ Church Cathedral. The coffins of the three firefighters, draped with the union jack, have been placed on top of a covered ladder truck and are flanked by bearers on top of the truck and along the sides. A crowd of mourners can be seen on the sidewalk outside the cathedral.
