In 1974 it was apparently the Army Navy & Air Force Veterans building; on the second storey are signs which read: "Miller Bros. Sailmakers". The second building shown is a very low 2-storey wooden structure (312-314 West Pender Street). 312 Pender Street contained a number of musical businesses, including Gate Rentals.
