Item is a postcard printed with an image of the S.S. Beaver in Vancouver's harbour. On the postcard's verso is a handwritten note, reading : "This photo was taken from the City Wharf foot of Carrall Street[,] with oxen and supplies for a logging camp March 20th 1888[.] To E B Hermon From George Marchant[,] the last Master of the historic Steamer Beaver that ended her long career at Prospect Point at the entrance of Burrard Inlet July 26th 1888[.]"
