Consultant reports

Series consists of reports generated by Dr. Newman's Aquarium consulting business, M.A. Newman Associates. There are reports for proposed aquarium sites in the following cities: Corpus Christi, Edmonton and St. John's, as well as the Tynehead Zoological Park in Surrey.

Aquarium newsletters

Series consists of runs of the Aquarium newsletter which was authored by Dr. Newman during this period.

Certificates/Awards

Series consists of various oversize award plaques awarded Dr. Newman over the course of his career.

Correspondence

Series consists of files containing original copies of incoming correspondence, some early (1955) copies of outgoing correspondence signed by Dr. Newman, newspaper clippings, photographs, Aquarium promotional materials, and conference information. Each file is divided chronologically by year and remains in the same physical arrangement as was maintained by Dr. Newman.

Oral histories

Series consists of typescripts of oral histories compiled by people involved with the Aquarium over the years.
