Collection consists of television programs created by Gordon Inglis in an informal partnership with Alan Shiveral and Around the Bend Productions (Gordon Inglis, Jayne Akizuki, and Alan Shiveral).
The collection contains examples of Gordon Inglis and Alan Shiveral's early work together at the community television station Vancouver East NTV with the program “Free Wheelin' with Alan Shiveral,” as well as the CBC program it would evolve into with the formation of Around the Bend Productions, “Cycle!”. This program featured the talents of five-time Olympian Charmaine Crooks, cyclist Joan Jones, and reporter Winston Brown. Both shows are informational programs which educate viewers about cycling, including cycling technique, the mechanics of bicycles, the cycling community and lifestyle, cycling products, cycling safety, and popular cycling locations and events.
The collection also contains an example of Around the Bend Productions' forays into other subject matter with the pilot of “In Conversation with Charmaine,” which was to feature conversations with influential British Columbians and was hosted by Charmaine Crooks.

The fonds consist of 35 diaries written by Henry Mole from 1872 to 1914. These diaries chronicle the activities of Henry Mole as a pioneer, farmer and alderman. The diaries mainly document the descriptions of weather, family life, work was done on the farm, farm expenses, visitors, church involvement, and interaction with other pioneers. Many of the First Nations people were mentioned in the diaries as they were hired by Henry as farm workers. Additional documentation of Henry’s involvement in the Municipality of South Vancouver as an alderman is included in the diaries from 1894 to 1899. Some diaries include Henry’s cash account and balances. The fonds is arranged into files, with each diary comprising one file. The fonds is missing the diaries of 1873-1874, 1897, and 1909-1913.

The fonds consists of fifteen sketchbooks containing courtroom illustrations done by Jane Wolsak. The sketches depict participants in civil and criminal proceedings in both provincial and federal courts held in the greater Vancouver region between 1998 and 2010. Some of the sketches were licensed to newspapers and television news broadcasters for inclusion in their reporting.
Wolsak covered many high profile trials during this period, including the trials of Kelly Ellard and Warren Glowatski for the murder of Reena Kirk; Ajaib Singh Bagri, Ripudaman Singh Malik and Inderjit Singh Reyat for the Air India bombings; and Robert ‘Willie’ Picton for the murders of twenty-seven women. Complete listings of the covered trials are included in the respective descriptions for the individual sketchbooks.

Pender Guy Radio Collective fonds
The fonds contains the full run of Pender Guy programs, as well as background research material used in making the program. Background research tapes contain documentation of events featuring Chinese and Asian-Canadian poetry, literature, and music; and interviews with community members and visiting Asian-Canadian and Asian-American writers and artists. Also included in the fonds are tapes with documentation of community meetings and conferences such as CASHRA (Canadian Association of Statutory Human Rights Agencies) and PAAC (Pacific and Asian Affairs Council).

Fonds consists of 48 personal diaries of Peter Thorne as well as one sketchbook. Entries document his daily life and his areas of interest including geology, fossils, and astronomy. Portions of entries are written in shorthand (Pitman?) script. Photograph prints are also incorporated into the diaries. Most diaries contain photographs showing views of the West End or downtown Vancouver, as well as shots of geological formations or fossils taken by Thorne either locally or during regular trips to various sites around the British Columbia or Washington State. Besides geological subject matter, photographs also generally show self portraits, family and friends, local landscapes, downtown, Stanley Park and West End streets. Diaries created later in life more predominantly consist of photographs rather than handwritten or typed entries. Each diary volume also includes a small amount of loose material such as postcards, stamps, correspondence, cards, clippings and other ephemera.

Collection consists of records collected and created by Catherine Clement throughout her ten-year research project on Yucho Chow and Yucho Chow Studio, which led to the 2019 exhibition "Chinatown Through a Wide Lens: The Hidden Photographs of Yucho Chow," and the 2020 book of the same title. The collection includes 510 photographs contributed by diverse communities, 75 family photographs contributed by Yucho Chow’s descendants, news clippings, studio graphic design work and ephemera, media stories, and project records.

Fonds consists of six photo albums depicting Baker’s personal life as a gay man living in the West End and many of his friends, as well as Pride festivals from the 1980s and other local events. Albums dating from 1990 include photographs apparently taken after Baker’s death and may have been added by another person, possibly Gary Gilbertson. Album pages include labels identifying events and people. Some album pages also have names of persons identified with sticky notes, which were applied by guests during the 2019 exhibition at the Mole Hill Community Housing Society. The fonds also includes two photographs of Max Baker provided to the Mole Hill Community Housing Society by Baker’s cousin.

Also included is an agreement of sale to Dugal MacKenzie of Port Moody in 1886 of Lot 9, Block 3 of his land south of False Creek.
