File contains: correspondence to the Employment and Relief Committee relating to case individuals' transfers to institutions (with the City guaranteeing payment); a Relief Department "Departmental Report on Personnel and Monthly Salaries" (24 Feb. 1930) prepared for the Commission on Civic Salaries; a copy of an address by the Acting Mayor to City Council "Re the Unemployment Situation" (21 Jan. 1930); and letters (from Vancouver Unemployed Workers' Organisation, Community Party of Canada, etc.) to the Acting Mayor, relating to the 14 Jan. 1930 Council meeting on "the unemployed situation".
