Records of the Documentation Committee

Series consists of correspondence, minutes, reports and records related to documentation. Arranged alphabetically.
The construction of the Garden involved a level of cooperation between the government of China and Canada that was still rare in the early 1980s. As well, the Garden was built by Chinese artisans who used ancient methods and tools. In 1984, the committee was established to ensure that the unique circumstances which led to the Garden's creation would be documented. It was struck down in 1987 after the completion of the project.

Records of the Executive Director's Office

The office was established in 1985, just prior to the completion of the Garden, to manage the day-to-day operations of the Society. Besides overseeing the Garden's operational departments, the Director acts as a liaison between the Society and various government departments as well as the community at large.
