Fonds includes family films shot by various members of the Spencer family, including Col. Victor Spencer, his wife Gertrude, and their children Isabell Louise and Victor Vance Spencer. The films document the family at their homes in British Columbia. Locations include Aberthau in Vancouver, homes in West Vancouver, and some of the family ranches: Earlscourt Ranch in Lytton, Douglas Lake Ranch in Nicola Valley, Pavillion Ranch on Pavillion Mountain, and the Circle S Ranch at Dog Creek. The films document significant family events, holidays, family recreation, and family vacations.
