[Map of Pioneer Place showing the area deeded to the City of Vancouver by the C.P.R.]

Item is a hand drawn map of Pioneer Place (also known as Pigeon Park), on the corner of Hastings and Carrall Streets. Map is colour coded to indicate the portion deeded to the City by the C.P.R., the portion being asked from the C.P.R. for street purposes, and the portion leased by the C.P.R. to Mr. Horne. Included on the map are Horne Block, Garden Block, a sidewalk, lanes, and a fountain. An engineer's estimates of improvements are noted on the right side of the map. Notes at the top of the map by J.S. Matthews, City Archivist read "Presented in 1934 by Ex-Alderman W.H. Gallagher. The date is about 1895."

Item is a film showing various scenes around Vancouver. The first half of this film documents a Gray Line Tours bus trip through Vancouver and second half contains scenes showing landmarks of Vancouver and surrounding areas. Film contains footage showing: Empress of Japan Figurehead in Stanley Park, U.B.C., Chinatown, Hotel Georgia, Lion's Gate Bridge, Court House, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Capilano Golf and Country Club, Prospect Point, Stanley Park, views of downtown and North Shore Mountains from Little Mountain, City Hall, sailboats in Burrard Inlet, and Swimmers at Kits Beach.

Birks Building and Vancouver Block

Item is a photograph of the whole northwest facade of Birks Building (700 Granville Street), Scott's Cafe (722 Granville Street), Roselawn Florist (724 Granville Street), and Vancouver Block (736 Granville Street) on Granville Street, taken from W. Georgia Street across the Pacific Centre plaza. A billboard advertisement for Peoples Credit Jewellers, an information sign for the Pacific Centre mall, a city bus, and the Birks clock are additionally visible.

Item is a photograph of the upper floors and clock tower of Vancouver Block (736 Granville Street) taken from Howe Street over the top of the lower portion of the of the Toronto Dominion Bank tower (700 W. Georgia Street). The photograph details the clock face with neon tubing visible (though turned off), as well as the detailed cornices and caryatids that decorate the upper floor and tower. Atop the tower is a large rotating sign for Birks.

Item is a photograph of the Royal Bank building (675 W. Hastings Street) taken from near Granville Street and Cordova Street, looking southwest on Granville Street. Along Granville Street beyond the Royal Bank building are the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Building (640 West Hastings Street) and the Rogers Building (470 Granville Street). The clock tower of Vancouver Block (736 Granville Street) can be seen in the background and there is a car park in the foreground.

Item is a photograph of the Merchants Bank Building (1 W. Hastings Street), looking west on W. Hastings Street. Honest Joe's discount Bargains is in the ground floor of the building, and Pay-Less Shoes (7 W. Hastings Street), the Beacon Hotel (7 W. Hastings Street), and B.C. Jewellers (11 W. Hastings Street) are in the adjacent buildings along W. Hastings Street. Photograph also shows a portion of Pioneer Place (also known as Pigeon Park).

Window display of W.H. Walsh Grocer

Item is a photograph showing an exterior view of the grocery store window display and entrance doors. Displayed out front on the street are crates of apples and a sign for "Made in British Columbia Week"; advertisements for Malkin's tea, mince meat and a "boy wanted" sign are also visible. The business was located at 1200 Seymour Street, at the corner of Seymour and Davie.
