File consists of two index maps and eighty-five sectional maps of Vancouver, revised between 1965 and 1970. Sectional maps include streets, blocks, lots, legal descriptions, railways, parks, schools, hospitals, cemetery, golf courses, retirement homes, public buildings, First Nations reserves and some businesses. Maps were compiled by the City Engineer's Office and supplied by the Property and Insurance Office of the City of Vancouver. Maps for sections 68 and 91 were not available at the time of issue.

Item is a pamphlet with instructions for evacuation of the city in case of nuclear attack. The text explains the effects a 5 megaton nuclear bomb explosion would have on the city and population. Instructions are given both for people who choose to stay in the Vancouver area and for people who choose to evacuate if a nuclear attack is anticipated. The verso of the pamphlet contains text and a map titled "Dispersal Routes for the Vancouver Zone".

Map and information concerning the City and District of New Westminster and the Province of British Columbia

Item is a pamphlet with a map on one side and text on the other. The map shows the location of churches, school, canaries, sawmills, backyards, tanneries, woolen mills, hatcheries, roads, and railways on a map which depicts the area of Greater Vancouver from the Gulf of Georgia east to Harrison Lake and south to the United States border. The verso contains information concerning the city and district of New Westminster, with individual panels on the municipalities of Delta, Chilliwhack [sic], Surrey, Langley, and Delta, and the City of New Westminster, the town of Harrison Hot Springs and the province.

Item is a brochure for tourists on Stanley park. The front sheet of the unfolded pamphlet includes text on attractions, as well as photographs of the park, petting zoo, monuments, trails and gardens, and Malkin Bowl. The reverse of the sheet contains a map of the park, showing roads, trails, geographical features and attractions.

Item is a brochure advertising the sale of land in Vancouver owned by the provincial government. One side of the unfolded brochure is promotional text and an index map showing the general location of the lands to be sold. The reverse of the sheet shows a portion of District Lot 192 and the lots available for sale.

Item is an informational pamphlet published by the BC Electric Railway Co. regarding City streetcar routes and interurban lines, golf and country clubs, city trips, interurban trips, motor coach trips, stations, ferries and docks, bathing beaches, public parks, North Shore canyons and parks, athletic and amusement parks. The map on the verso shows street car lines, interurban lines, bus routes and parks.

Map shows the subdivision of lots in the block bordered by 31st Avenue East, 32nd Avenue East, St. Catherines Street and Windsor Street, at that time in the District of South Vancouver. Map is certified by the surveyor Arthur H. Holland, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and W.A. Pound, Reeve of the District of South Vancouver. It is unclear as to whether the map was commissioned by the Corporation of the District of South Vancouver.

Item is a hand drawn map of Pioneer Place (also known as Pigeon Park), on the corner of Hastings and Carrall Streets. Map is colour coded to indicate the portion deeded to the City by the C.P.R., the portion being asked from the C.P.R. for street purposes, and the portion leased by the C.P.R. to Mr. Horne. Included on the map are Horne Block, Garden Block, a sidewalk, lanes, and a fountain. An engineer's estimates of improvements are noted on the right side of the map. Notes at the top of the map by J.S. Matthews, City Archivist read "Presented in 1934 by Ex-Alderman W.H. Gallagher. The date is about 1895."
