Item is a photograph showing the members of the I.A.T.S.E. union. Names annotated on back of photograph. Standing, back row (L-R): Kato Forrest, Ad Harrington, Grant Robertson, Leo Smith, James Barr, Fred Blackadar, Charles Pratty, Arthur Cather, Fred Baker, W[illia]m Taylor. Seated, front row: Harry Spear, Harry Russell, J.C. Kloos, John Hood, Frank Woodsworth. The name Rod Martin is also written on back of photograph.

Rex Young photographs

File consists of two photograph albums and four loose prints showing local jockey Rex Young, who died in a racing accident in Winnipeg July 27, 1941. One photograph album, 1939, shows photographs of Young on various mounts at Hastings Park, Lansdowne Park, and Brighouse Park racetracks. The other photograph album, 1940-1941, consists of photographs of races, portraits of Young with family and friends, as well as his grave site. Also included in this album are condolence cards and news clippings of Young's death as well as Young's 1941 jockey license and marriage certificate to wife Wilma Gross. Loose photographs show Young on horseback racing and portraits taken with owners.

Spencer family and 29th Vancouver Battalion regimental band and performers album

Item is an album showing images of family portraits and various family outings as well as images related to 29th Vancouver Battalion performers, such as Edmund A. Burke and other men in uniform as well as scenes of theatre performance with men in costume, the military theatre troupe the "See Toos" of the 2nd Canadian Division. Included in the album is a news clipping of the marriage of Pte. [Private] Joseph Sydney Spencer, member of the 29th Vancouver Battalion, and theatre and concert bills of performances in France including the Bonner Stadt Theatre. An inscription on the album cover states, "[?] With love to [Flo?] from Syd, Aug 26 1919". Some names and places are identified by inscription in the album.
