File consists of records pertaining to Charles Plant, primarily related to his work as a shingle manufacturing executive at Bloedel, Stewart and Welch Ltd.; includes a news and magazine clipping, 1939 photograph print of industry professionals from Canada and the United States, and a reprint copy of the Feb. 1894 issue of the Puget Sound Lumberman which includes statistical information for British Columbia. File also includes a roster of the 1940 Kiwanis Club members.

Fonds consists of records of Sherwood Lett including personal papers, 1908-1964, including diaries and correspondence, military papers, 1845, 1914-1965, covering service in World Wars I and II as well as peace-time associations; diplomatic papers, 1947-1955, covering the 1947 Canadian Mission to Japan and the 1954-1955 Canadian participation in the International Commission in Vietnam; judicial papers, 1955-1964, concerning the appointment as Chief Justice to the Supreme Court of B.C. 1955, and as Chief Justice to the B.C. Court of Appeal, 1963; university papers, 1951-1964, including Lett’s election as Chancellor in 1951. In addition, there are scrapbooks, clippings, and a collection of publications, 1916-1965. The fonds also includes photographs depicting the personal, professional, military and academic life of Sherwood Lett.
Fonds also includes records of Evelyn Lett, consisting of a small amount of letters of support for her nomination of the Order of Canada, 1997, a service award, 1998, news clippings and articles, 1975-1976, and a file related to family member Charles Plant.
