File includes correspondence of Winifred Mabel Pierce, Caroline Little Pierce, Osborne J. Pierce, Annie Louise Taylor, and L.D. Taylor, including several letters between L.D. Taylor and Osborne J. Pierce, and postcards from a trip that L.D. took to Winnipeg, Montreal and New York City. Included also are several postcards from California, Seattle, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, Victoria and Vancouver, B.C.

File contains material relating to Osborne and Caroline's trip to Vancouver in 1906, including a notebook in which Osborne documents places visited and photographs taken during the trip. File also includes postcards from various places in the United States and Canada, including ones sent to Vancouver by L.D. Taylor during a trip to the United States and central Canada.

Series consists of records relating to Osborne J. Pierce's career as an architect and his position as a Superintendent of Drawing for the City of Chicago Department of Public Instruction. Additional material intermingled with these records includes poetry and prose by Osborne J. Pierce, including autobiographical prose, family history notes, photographs, watercolours and drawings.
