Series consists of a collection of materials regarding E. Pauline Johnson. Series includes: a codicil to Pauline Johnson's will; some letters received by Pauline Johnson; correspondence regarding Pauline Johnson and her family, her burial site and monument at Stanley Park, the visit to the monument by individuals from the Six Nations Reserve, and the production of a Pauline Johnson commemorative stamp; photographs of Johnson, her monument, and other related subjects; and writings of Johnson. Series also includes a biography of Johnson by Mrs. W. Garland Foster.

Collection consists of three volumes. The first is a diary, "The Newcastle Memorandum-Book and Register of the Northern Counties", 1836, which contains various entries, made later, by William Yates, and referring to his work on the railroad in the U.S. and Canada 1892, 1902. The second volume is a collection of "Rhymes & Sketches to illustrate the Cleveland Dialect" by Mrs. G.M. Tweddell, 1875. The third volume is an "International Official Souvenir, Tenth Biennial Convention, Brotherhood Railway Carmen of America", 1907.

The fonds includes personal papers and correspondence covering Warden's war service, the Russian Intervention and his post war activities with the West Coast Lumber Association, veterans groups and the Essex County Gaol; a file of newspaper clippings; five notebooks (1905-1919); an army paybook; rifle range notes; typed manuscripts based on his diary; and a notebook of rules he drew up for the Essex County Gaol. The photographs cover the period ca. 1883- ca. 1920, with the majority documenting his wartime service.
