Item is a videocassette containing a recording of the Emperor's Dinner, sponsored by the Dogwood Monarchist Society at Doll and Penny's Cafe. The event was a fundraiser for the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation. After the dinner, the audience and performers moved to Numbers Cabaret.

Faces : GLBT in Vancouver

Item is a videocassette containing a documentary entitled 'Faces: GLBT in Vancouver.' The documentary traces the history of LGBTQ life in Vancouver and shows demonstrations, businesses, legal frameworks, community leaders, night life, AIDS/HIV, activism, neighbourhoods and celebrations. The video contains interviews and archival footage of Bill Richardson, Margo Dunn, Ellen Woodsworth, Esther Phillips, Jamie Lee Hamilton, Rob Joyce, Don Hann, Maurice Flood, Pierre Elliot Trudeau, Sarah Davidson, Mary-Woo Sims, Heather Kitching, Jim Deva, Svend Robinson, Tim Stevenson, Ted Northe, Gordon Price, Janine Fuller, Gareth Kirby, Angus Praught, Dennis Dahl, Garry Penny, Jane Rule, Nym Hughes, Libby Davies. The archival footage in the film was provided by the CBC. The documentary was produced, directed and edited by Thomas Donovan.

Gay Pride Parade 1997

Item is a videocassette containing clips from the Rogers Community Television coverage of the 1997 Vancouver Pride Parade interspersed with additional footage (most likely recorded by Jim DeYoung/Amazing Video Productions) of both the parade and the Gay Pride Sports Picnic. The hosts of the Rogers Community Television program are Sister C, Russel Baskin and Doug Austin. Other individuals featured include Svend Robinson, Hedy Fry, Tim Stevenson, Bruce Chambers, Philip Owen, and Ujjal Dosanjh. Parade participants are shown, organizations and individuals including: PFLAG, Vancouver Lesbian Connection, Prime Timers, Vancouver Men's Chorus, BC Persons With AIDS, AIDS Vancouver, Joan E, Odyssey Nightclub, BC Government and Service Employees Union, Royal Hotel (Sam Castlanger), A Loving Spoonful, Doll and Penny's Cafe, Westender, Buddhist Pride, Co-op Radio Lesbian Show, Out on Screen and the Vancouver Gay and Lesbian Choir.
