Pioneer S.S. Beaver

Item consists of two postcards printed with an image of the S.S. Beaver wrecked at Prospect Point in Burrard Inlet. An inset image shows the boiler of the S.S. Beaver. Text relating to the S.S. Beaver's history is printed below the two images. A note on the verso of one of the two postcards comprising this item reads, "Presented by Mrs. Frank W. Hart, Prince Rupert, B.C. 1936. This boiler was, I think, exhibited at the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition, Seattle, about 190[-?]." (The exposition was held in 1909.)
