Item is a pamphlet advertising Black Ball Line ferry services and routes, illustrated with photos showing ferries and popular British Columbia Destinations. Pamphlet contains one large map showing ferry routes and two inset maps showing close ups of routes. Black Ball Line routes are shown with dotted green lines. Other ferry routes are shown with dotted brown lines. Highways are shown with solid green lines. All maps were created by Northwest Mapping Service, Seattle in 1958.

Chance and challenge

Item is a poster containing information about the development of a regional concept and plan for the Lower Mainland. Poster is divided into four text boxes entitled: "The region: today and tomorrow", "A concept: how the region should develop", "Two basic principles of development", and "The first step: the regional plan." The poster contains a diagram showing the concept for development, a series of cities linked by a freeway network. The poster also contains a map showing different areas in the proposed regional plan. Map contains a color coded legend with the following categories: established urban, developing urban, small community, major industrial, acreage, upland farm, floodplain farm, special development, reserve, secured park, and potential park.

Item also includes a newsletter entitled "Pacific Centre News, No. 4" dated March 1971. Item includes floor plans. Architects were McCarter, Nairne and partners, Vancouver and Victor Gruen Associates, Los Angeles. Consulting engineers were H.H. Angus and Associates Ltd. and Unecon Engineering Consultants Ltd. Owner and leasing agent was Pacific Centre Limited.

Public appreciation

Item is a certificate of public appreciation to General Fry W.J. , Canadian Expeditionary Force, dated July 1, 1919 and signed by Mayor Gale and City Clerk William McQueen. Item also includes seal of the city.
